Can you help?

I have Windows 7 SP1, Office 2010 and have repeatedly tried to install Presenter 8 without getting the error shown below. As soon as I try to use a Presenter tool within Powerpoint I get this message.

presenterError.jpg

Each time I have uninstalled Presenter and reinstalled after a reboot.

Thanks for any suggestions

Hi,

Are you getting this error on clicking any button?

Please check your Presenter version and update it, if any update is available.

[Goto Help>Update]

If Update link is not available then package a project first and then try.

Thanks,

Vikram

Hi Vikram

Yes I get the error when I try anything in the Presenter tab in Powerpoint.

I have just updated Presenter 8 with latest patch from Abobe website but it makes no difference.

I can run the video creator separately but would like to run Presenter from within Powerpoint.

Is there a known issue with this?

Thanks

Leslie

Hi Leslie,

Did you installed the patch from this link -> http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=5505  ?

Can you tell me the version of the Presenter after update installation ? [ Help > About Presenter ]

Do you have McAfee antivirus installed in your system?

Thanks,

Vikram

Hi Vikram

Yes that is the site I visited to get the patch.

Version shows as below:

I got no errors when installing the patch but should it now be on version 8.2?

Same problem still persists .

No we don’t have Macafee here.

Thanks

Leslie

The image link seems to be broken. Can you just tell me the version?
