Question about how often to install newest version

I belong to Hallmark.com and send out ecards that I paid for the year to use all of their ecards.

I must have Adobe Flashcard, and I do have the newest Version11.6.602.180 and myOS is Windows Vista 32 Bit

Everytime I go into send a card, it tells me to download the newest vrsion, it never works, so I can't send out the cards?  What am I suppose to do?
