1. Re: Activate/Deactivate track shortcut?
Jeff Bellune Mar 31, 2013 4:59 AM (in response to NickBoston)I don't think so. I don't know of any way to set up a keyboard shortcut to do that.

Steven L. Gotz Mar 31, 2013 8:07 AM (in response to NickBoston)If you look in the keyboard shortcuts and search on "toggle" you won't find "Toggle Track Output". If you hover your mouse over the eyeball, you will see that is the name of the button. It just isn't on the list of possible shortcuts.
You can select them all, deselect them all, etc, but you can't toggle them on and off without a mouse. Sounds like a feature request.

jamesp2 Mar 31, 2013 8:24 AM (in response to Steven L. Gotz)While we're at it, there's no apparent shortcut for toggling sync lock or track lock, either by track or all at once, or a button for universal toggling. Both functions require mousing and clicking, sometimes involving both audio and video tracks.
Even forgetting the convenience, the prevalance of mouse-related hand, wrist and arm disorders makes it incumbent on developers to get as much functionality in the keyboard as possible.

NickBoston Mar 31, 2013 5:52 PM (in response to jamesp2)Thanks for the great replies, I sent in a feature request to see if they can implement this somehow. It seems pretty obvious which surprises me that it's not already there.

shooternz Mar 31, 2013 7:40 PM (in response to NickBoston)This was particularly helpful when lining up tracks by hand. Right now I'm finding the track and clicking the eyeball on and off.
Out of curiosity...what type of tracks are you "lining up" this way?

6. Re: Activate/Deactivate track shortcut?
NickBoston Apr 1, 2013 7:49 AM (in response to shooternz)A few times Pluraleyes wasnt gettingit right because one of the cameras was standing next to something noisy etc. So, I have to line them up or refine them back in Pmemiere. Deactivating the top track quickly to see where I am and reactivating again quicly would be really helpful.
Sometimes I'll line the tracks up and create a series of cuts and then simply deactivate the chunks i don't need etc. I can move really fast in final cut because of this feature.
