JSS1138 Apr 3, 2013 4:13 PM (in response to Lone Lobo)You don't need to use a BM sequence in CS6, you can use any sequence and get video out of your hardware. This is the new Mercury Transmit feature.
So...give that matching sequence a go.

Lone Lobo Apr 3, 2013 4:01 PM (in response to JSS1138)Forgive my lack of understanding. I am driving outboard monitors with the Black Magic Card, ie. via SDI and HDMI.
When I use a non-BM Sequence I lose output to these monitors. What am I missing here?
Please pardon my ignorance.

JSS1138 Apr 3, 2013 4:13 PM (in response to Lone Lobo)With CS6, you shouldn't. Any sequence should output via the hardware just fine. Though I've never used that hardware, so I can't comment specifically on how to get that going. See if this helps.

4. Re: Black Magic and Warp Stabilizer
Lone Lobo Apr 3, 2013 4:30 PM (in response to JSS1138)So I'm watching the video above and find that the only "Setup" menu I can access on the Video Device setup in the Playback screen of preferences is the Adobe DV selection. I have Blackmagic Playback selected, but there is no setup menu as in the Bluefish device in the video. Should I have a "setup" menu for the black magic card?

5. Re: Black Magic and Warp Stabilizer
Lone Lobo Apr 3, 2013 5:01 PM (in response to Lone Lobo)I also just checked the BlackMagic driver. The version now installed is 9.7.0.0 and I see that there is a 9.7.1 available.
Does anyone with experience with these drivers know if this will fix my problem?

Lone Lobo Apr 4, 2013 7:40 AM (in response to Lone Lobo)Just a follow up. I installed the 9.7.1 drivers and all is working as it should. Transmit appears to be doing it's job regardless of sequence settings. Many thanks to Jim for the pointers and help.
