Flash Player problems

I tried to install the latest flash player onto my computer and when it has finished it informs me it is successfully installed but then when i try and goto a program that requires flash player it tells me it is not installed

I have windows 7 I browse with google n I'm not sure what else is using it, I attempted to uninstall flash player and I reinstalled it but it won't work

Google Chrome?  Chrome comes with its own Flash Player; you don't need to install it manually.
