Flash Player won't install, Windows 7, Internet Explorer

I've tried everything, reading all the FAQ's, can't get Flash Player to install on my Windows 7, Inernet Explorer.  I have installed over and over, it keeps saying successful.  Google Chrome is there, but not the Flash Player.  I return to the website I want to watch a video on and it still shows that I should install it.  Help!
