Robohelp html 10.0.0.287
I am updating a Webhelp helpset for a Java application that was previously written as a Javahelp set. The developer has asked the following question. I have searched but cannot find an answer, either here, in the Robohelp help or via google, so hoping someone here will know the answer.
"...can you ensure that the version you are using makes use of the Java 6 Desktop API for launching the default browser and that the browser (specifically IE) will properly open the desired URL."
The reason for his question is that "...when I looked at this last time you were using an older version of RoboHelp (9) which was not optimized for Java 6 and had issues working with Internet Explorer"
Thanks in advance
Dave

Well, first you probably should have been asking in the JavaHelp forum, not in this one. Secondly, JavaHelp is one of those SSLs that really doesn't get a lot of use these days (same as FlashHelp too), so I highly doubt any of us here on these user-to-user forums is going to know the answer. Why don't you just take one of the sample projects and whip up some JavaHelp for your developer to poke around in?

It is not Javahelp I am producing. It is Webhelp for a Java app. He had problems with the CSH calling the correct URL when I mocked up some webhelp with version 9

Sorry, your question seemed a bit confusing - have your developer look at the CSH folder in your RH10 install to decide for themself what's being used.

Thanks Jeff,
I provided the CSH folder to the developer.
