Flash Player Update Messages

How do I turn off Flash Player update messages.  I've downloaded and intalled version 11.7.700.169 several times and the update massages continue to show at the bottom of my monitor screen.

My operating system is Windows 7. The message that keeps popping up is – “This webpage wants to run the following add-on: ‘Adobe Flash Player from ‘Adobe Systems Incorporated.’” I click on “Allow” and it goes away for a while, but pops up later.

This is caused by the Security setting of your browser.  Change it, or allow specific sites to run Flash Player without prompts.
