Hi,
This is probably a very specific question and hopefully I am raising this in the correct place.
We have a product that uses a mixture of ActionScript 3.0 (for navigation) and ActionScript 2.0 (for the content). We also embed flash into a .NET 2.0 client using the activeX control
In order for AS2 & 3 to talk to each other, we use LocalConnection to send messages. This has been working fine for us up until recently.
Microsoft released this update to Windows * back in November
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2758994
Which 'fixes' an issue with security and flash player in Internet explorer. Unfortunately this has also killed our product
Has anyone seen anything similar to this?
Thanks

Hi there.
We have almoust the same issue with localConnection class (we are using as3 WebUI to connect to AIR App)
And yes, after last update (26 february) of IE it just stopped working.
How you found any workarounds or some official doc's regarding this issue?

Sadly no, I've raised a ticket with Microsoft, but heard nothing back about it.
The only workaround I can think of it to swap the localConnection to use an external interface (Javascript or .NET) and pass the same information around that way.
