How do I uninstall Google Chrome that automatically downloaded with Adobe update?

Google Chrome installed automatically with last Adobe update.  Every time I try to uninstall it it crashes my computer!

I just go to "Install- Uninstall programs" under Programs in the Cointrol Panel and uninstall them and I don't have any problems. Would love to know how to stop them from installing in the first palce.
