Having issues installing 11.7.700.169 update for Safari Mac OS X

Hi. I am having issues installing the latest flash update for Safari on my Macbook Pro. After I start the installer, it says "Downloading", but the installer hangs at 7% and after a while, quits without installing anything. The latest version I have of flash for safari is 11.6.602.180, and I cannot install the newest versions of Flash because of this issue. I appreciate any help given.

Try if this installer works better: fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/mac/install_flash_player_11_osx.dmg
