I have tried installing Flash Player XI several times. The download seems to go well and finishes. However, when I try to view video, a screen always pops up saying I need to install the new Flash Player. I have Windows 7 with IE 10. Can anyone help?

I've done the same thing. Firefox is up to date, everything is uninstalled, the plugins are uninstalled, and I can't get Adobe Flashplayer to install. It downloads just fine but it keeps getting an error message from Host saying that it's "unable to load application configuration."

Are you running the downloader/installer, or the FULL installer? (Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers))

Hi Tomjunior,

You may try uninstalling the Flash player by following this link,

http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html

Make sure you follow the proper steps and remove all left over files related to Flash player.

and Reinstalling Flash player under Administrator account from Adobe.com (Note: Administrative permissions are necessary so that the Adobe Flash Player installer can access the Windows® system registry)

Here is a link for the download,
