flashplayer not downloading,but says succesfull install

I have downloaded flash player 64 bit and it says its completed successfully, when i open it  it will not play from any site or application it just says ..need flashplayer installed to play. i have done this many times over and I still come up at the same message

P.S. there is no separate 64-bit installer; from where did you download it?

Thank you for writing back. I finally got it to work, I had a firewall up I didn’t know about, came upon it by accident. RJK
