Adobe Flash Player download problems

Why does Adobe Flash Player keep timming out?  Won't complete the download and only gives you the option to "finish"?

I'm on a Mac Version 10.7.5

Please download Flash Player from the following link: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player-mac.html#installer

After downloading, close all browsers and double-click the file you downloaded.

That is exactly what I have been doing and every time it gets to 47% it stops and show a yellow triangle and says "Download Timeout"

Same thing every time!

I uninstalled it recommendation from the trouble shooting page tried to reinstall with Browsers closed and anti Virus off and still no luck. Now I have no flash player. I am on  Windows Vista Home Premium OS

And you downloaded the full installer from Sunil's link?  You shouldn't get any such message from the full installer.
