choppy video, out of sinc audio

when I  play a video in flash player (Firefox) the video is choppy and the audio is out of sinc.

I have broadband: ping at 46ms, download at 7.76 mbps, and upload at 0.76 mbps.

My video card has 500mb of ram, my pc has 2gb of ram.

My os is xphome and has all the latest updates.

I've tried everything I can think of including resetting Firefox, but the problem persists.

Anyone have any ideas what I can do to smooth out the play in sinchronize the sound?

Try if the sound problem disappears with the latest Flash Player beta: http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer.html
