I really can't tell you how many times I have installed/uninstalled/reinstalled Flash Player.

Download stalls at 7%, then download times out suddenly (no progress) at 47%.

Installation fails in Firefox 20 and Safari 6.0.4. under Mac OS 10.7.5.

While I was typing this, I tried to install one last time. These are the steps that  appeared to work for me.

1. did NOT double-click 'Install Adobe Flash Player.app' this time

2. followed directions found on Adobe webpage, right-clicked Contents>Resources

3. double-clicked 'Adobe Flash Player.pkg'

*This* time, I got to the Installation Successful screen.

However, the Download webpage Version window is blank. So I can't really tell if AF is installed.

I downloaded again and got into the same failure loop. Help....

LATEST

I discovered that file, Pat, thanks. Flash Player Information shows 11.6.602.180. I guess I'll stop there and not worry about 11.7.700.169. Why fix what's not (too) broken. So far, attempting to install the latest version winds up with a blank Info window.
