Hey guys!
I recorded a video with my Canon HD HG20 in 1920x1080 px and wanted to cut it in Adobe Premiere Pro but the whole video lost the margin so that sometimes my head is not on the screen. It's hard to explain thats why Ive taken a screenshot to show it:
(If the screenshots aren't available, just take the links:

I thought that if I would render it it will be fullscreen then so that the preview function is a little bit buggy but the renderoption offered a resolution of 720x576 and I can't change this.
I hope that you can understand my problem and will help me. Thanks in advance.
Maybe and I'm just saying maybe - if you right click on the clip in the timeline and choose "scale to frame size" it will fix it.

Follow the instructions in post #2.

You may want to start over with a new sequence and make it by using the method linked above by John T. Smith. Where you drag and drop your clip in the project panel on top of the "new item" icon at the bottom right of the project panel. In lieu of that - look up at the source monitor - effects tap - twirl down the motion category and adjust the position of your clip - or the anchor point - or just click on the motion icon and then you can move your image about in the program monitor by clicking and draging.

Okay, now I've got created a custom Sequence setting that fits I think. 1920x1080, square pixels, etc... And everything looks nice.
But if I want to export it it says again 720x576 px. How can I change this?

You have to change those settings manually. Choose a format and a preset in the "export settings" section. Maybe choose Quicktime for you fromat and HD - propably pal for you for the preset Or make your own custome Pre set below in the video tab. I think that is what you need to do.

Thank you. I had the same problem with my first attempt but it actually made the framing of the film better!!! Marley & Mogo Hello - YouTube
But with the next project is was a disaster until I read your help. So simple and yet so impossible unless you know!

Did you do as it says below, to be sure your video is correctly seen?
