conroy Apr 30, 2013 11:51 AM (in response to mikeobe)If you use a SO then the S&H adjustment will be stored as a Smart Filter and the advantage, as with any SF, is that you can subsequently tweak as many or as few of the the controls as desired instead of starting from scratch.

I'm surprised you didn't just try a regular layer and discover the answer to your "real question" is yes, without starting a thread in the forum. Seems like it would have been much simpler as well as a smaller waste of your time and mine.
