Adobe flashplayer

Will not let me download adobe flashplayer as it says I do not have sufficient authority to download.  This is my personal PC and not a network.  Help, please.

I have windows XP and firefox is my browser. It continues to say I have

insufficient permission. In the control panel, it shows only user accounts

which I think means I should have permission. Still not working and very

frustrating, will not allow downloan of adobe flash player.

You must run the installer under an Administrator account.  Alternatively download the offline installer http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player-windows.html#main-pars_hea... and save it to disk, then right-click on the installer and select Run as Administrator.
