When the first emails went out, you were given the option to opt-out, but the option to opt out has passed. All remaining accounts will be migrated between now and June.

Migration is just copying jpg files to Revel. They are still in Photoshop.com until June, so you can use our media downloader to archive them to your computer. Follow this link to see how:

I hope that helps. You might want to give Revel a try since your files will be there and the first 30 days you get unlimited uploads.

Thank you for helping me download my pictures.

Adobe has really evolved over the years that I have used ADOBE PRODUCTS...the very first online display of photos I really liked. Then you "updated" it to one I liked even less. Now, you made the decision to start a new website FOR PROFIT!!  As I understand it, Revel isn't even completed yet, but suddenly Adobe decides to move our pictures to an unfinished, limited/paying online account. It seems that you created small new programs, that could have been handled in Photoshop itself (lightroom), etc. increasing the cost in just that way. Your "new" improvements aren't really that new, I personally do not think--I think for every edition you hold back a few, then start the "upgrade process".  Problem. CS5 will be my last update. Once you were discussing that if a person didn't buy CS6, they wouldn't be allowed to "upgrade" to CS7, but would have to buy full price. Sounds a little bit like a threat and no one likes that.  I do not know what you decided, but it appeareared to me, you were more interested in the money, than providing a good product to your faithful customers....Cheaper and more customer oriented plugins can be purchased to add to Photoshop now, and that is how I intend to handle my software add-ons. I did notice a blog about how people like the new Revel and not ONE of them was a positive remark,,,! That should tell you something about how your customers feel about your constant changing that isn't always for the better.

I am glad you were able to archive the files. I can not comment on the other products, but I can help you with Revel if you need it. I realize that there were only a few months between the announcement and the start of the migration. Some folks are still a bit confused. Adobe made a business decision to discontinue Photoshop.com sharing and storage. Since Revel is another program that Adobe offers for storage, this was offered as an option for users if they wanted us to move their files there so they did not have to go through a manual effort to do it themselves. Revel was not, however, designed to replace Photoshop.com. This is why the features differ.Revel is a released product that is free to users who wish to upload 50 or fewer files a month. We will continue adding many new features to Revel in the future. If I can help you further with Revel, please let me know.
