Acobat reader "fails to initialize".

Have already uninstalled all previous adobe installations.

Have also de-activated anti-virus program.

Please try the steps below:

> Disable all Non-Microsoft Startup Services. (Ref : http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/disable-startup-items-servic es-windows.html )

> Disable all the Antivirus softwares like CA, Norton,Mc Afee etc. temporarily from the computer.

Reboot and Install and check.

Hello Pat,

I have successfully loaded the 'reader'.

Bbut the problem with installing the 'flash player' (error 130200)

still persists.

My system is Windows XP Sp3.
