If you edit spanned AVCHD clips, expect to run into a lot of trouble with CS6. Said troubles don't exist with CS5.5, nor apparently do they exist in the new CC version.
Some interesing specifics are here. I think the multi-GPU (and greater GPU) support should be a huge help. And the audio sync will be extremely helpful with multi-cam editing.

ntreuter May 8, 2013 10:13 AM (in response to jasonvp)Thanks, that's interesting. I swapped from a Radeon to a nVIDIA just to get the CUDA support on CS5.5 and it's been pretty good. The only real reasons for me to upgrade to CS6 are warp stabilizer (but I can get that through after effects anyway, just an extra step).
Is there any anticipated future difficulty with 3rd party products (like Magic Bullet) with a constantly changing platform?

Doubtful, the big change for Adobe was the 32 to 64 bit conversion. Since that switch around CS5, the plugin SDK hasn't changed in any significant way.

The Sync Settings feature that takes advantage of Creative Cloud was announced after that post, and is described here:
More in-depth descriptions of specific features in Premiere Pro CC and other apps are also described in other posts on that blog.
