ADE Wont recognise Kindle

I am a new ADE user and kindle user.  I have done the installation and downloaded the books but when I plug in my kindle  ADE wont recognise it so I can transfer the books.  Yes I have authorised my computer.  Can anyone tell me why or how to fix this. Thanks

I'm pretty certain Amazon don't allow the Kindle to support DRM .epub books; they prefer to lock you in to buying from Amazon.

Using a drm stripper such as epubee may work for you; but check for whether it is legal in your country.
