1. Re: Missing other menus
Stan Jones May 12, 2013 8:43 AM (in response to hurricaneheatherinVictori)You probably put the downloaded folders in the wrong root folder.
Look at your Encore preferences for the location of the library. then go look there and see what folder structure you have. YOu shoujld have a folder called "Library," and under that, you should have all the categories of menus (what you are calling options). You probably have only "General" under "Library."
Assuming you have all the folders on your computer, you can change the location in Encore preferences to the actual location of the folders, or, you can move the files to the location Encore is pointed to.

John T Smith May 12, 2013 8:57 AM (in response to hurricaneheatherinVictori)If you are using CS6, did you download BOTH content files?
There are TWO links for missing Content... PPro & Encore basic and Encore extra

Encore additional http://helpx.adobe.com/encore/using/download-library-content.html

3. Re: Missing other menus
Stan Jones May 12, 2013 9:32 AM (in response to John T Smith)Since he has "General" only, he has downloaded at least one of the two - and perhaps both. Each set (the template only and the full library) have all the library categories (Corporate, Entertainment, General, etc).

6. Re: Missing other menus
hurricaneheatherinVictori May 12, 2013 4:36 PM (in response to Stan Jones)I looked in Encore and it doesn’t make sense to me as where to look for these, but I couldn’t find it I went to the adobe site and downloaded C:\Users\Surfer\Downloads\PremiereProCS6ContentWin.zip\CS6 Functional Content but when I try to run or open it but I get an error message:
This is what I downloaded from your site: Premiere Pro_6_Content_LS7
and there another PremierePro__6_Content_LS7 with a different icon, but when I go to install it, I get:
An install-on-demand component is required for this operation.
The component, when unpacked, will use an additional 0.003GB and take around 20s to run
but that's Premiere Pro CS6 and when I initially installed Premiere Pro, there was only one disc with Premiere Pro CS6 unlike Premiere Elements 9 which had second disc for content so I don't know where to find this content. How can I get the content for Encore. I have no problems with Adobe Premiere Pro, at least not yet. Please guide me from here. I am not that technical savvy.

7. Re: Missing other menus
hurricaneheatherinVictori May 12, 2013 4:47 PM (in response to Stan Jones)Oh and another thing, I finally have my project ready in Encore but I don’t know how to burn it. There’s no option to burn DVD and for some reason the DVDs I burn using Premiere Pro have not been playing on regular DVD player after I created an AVCHD video; although, they play on my computer. I would like to know how to burn a DVD from the editing work I have done in Premiere Pro. Adobe Premiere Elements 9 and 11 gave me an option to burn a DVD and they played on a regular DVD, but something missing when I burn these DVDs that were created in Adobe Premiere Pro.

9. Re: Missing other menus
hurricaneheatherinVictori May 13, 2013 6:43 AM (in response to John T Smith)Well burning the DVD finally worked at least it plays on my computer, now to test it on the DVD player. I still have to figure out these templates (library) as mentioned when I loaded Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 on my computer there was one disc and it went through the process of loading. Where it put things I don’t know because I made no specifications. So far one issue solved, thanks for your help, all of you.

10. Re: Missing other menus
Stan Jones May 13, 2013 7:11 AM (in response to hurricaneheatherinVictori)It now sounds like that originally you did not download either of the files John points to in post #2. Use his first link, and follow the directions for "Solution: Install the CS6 Functional Content."
This should install templates (not individual buttons, etc) for all the categories, General, Corporate, Education, etc.
Write back after that step.

12. Re: Missing other menus
hurricaneheatherinVictori May 13, 2013 9:47 AM (in response to John T Smith)I can’t even find Adobe Encore CS6 in that library list on my computer. All I have is Adobe Media Encoder, After Effect CS6 (which was only a trial version I was using), dynamiclinkmediaserver, OnLocation, Premiere Elements, and Premiere Pro when I look at: C:\Users\Surfer\Documents\Adobe
I can't find a library and like I said these things excluding After Effects downloaded with the program, I didn't specify any location. I am still trying to find a DVD player to play the DVD on, I have been able to burn two different DVDs using Adobe Encore CS6 and they play on my computer. Hopefully they will play on the DVD play at our next Video Club meeting. Where can I download these elements so that I can have several templates to choose from.

John T Smith May 13, 2013 9:57 AM (in response to hurricaneheatherinVictori)>Where can I download these elements
Go back to message #2 where I provided both links
You are looking for C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Encore CS6 to find the library
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Encore CS6\Library

14. Re: Missing other menus
hurricaneheatherinVictori May 13, 2013 11:10 AM (in response to John T Smith)Well I don’t think I’ll be able to resolve this issue because I am not seeing anything. Like I said I only have General and when I click on that link you provided, it does nothing. file:///C:/Program%20Files/Adobe/Adobe%20Encore%20CS6/Library
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Encore CS6\Library
That’s where the library is but I am not able to get anything else. I don’t think I can resolve this issue by myself. I need someone who can sit with me and help me with it.

15. Re: Missing other menus
John T Smith May 13, 2013 11:45 AM (in response to hurricaneheatherinVictori)That is not a link... that is what you should see at the top of Windows Explorer when you navigate to the correct hard drive location
Unfortunately, with CS6 Adobe has created an install process that is NOT automatic, and unless you know something about your computer and how folders and Windows Explorer (Microsoft may have gone back to calling it File Manager, I'm not sure) work you are not going to be able to properly install the 2 downloads
Do you know someone who knows how a computer works who may sit with you?

16. Re: Missing other menus
Stan Jones May 13, 2013 12:13 PM (in response to John T Smith)John and I are but fellow users. Even though we are willing to help, Adobe support (free for install issues I believe), will, under some conditions, log on to your machine and fix things. You might consider that. I'll bet John will send you a link shortly after I post this!
To help you get the context, here are the big picture steps - do them in this order.
Install Encore (You have done this).
Download and install the CS6 Premeire and Encore Functional content (see below). (I think you did this, but I am not sure.)
Download, uncompress, and move the CS6 Encore full library content. (I don't think you did this - make sure you did step 2 correctly before moving on to this step.)
Re step 2:
Download the file in the top part of John's first link. Assuming you are windows, the file you download is:
PremiereProCS6ContentWin.zip
Unzip this file and you have a folder called:
CS6 Functional Content
Inside that folder are:
PremierePro_6_Content_LS7.exe (the file you "run")and
PremierePro_6_Content_LS7.7z (the file with the content, that you leave alone the installer - the file you "run," uses this.
So execute ("run"), PremierePro_6_Content_LS7.exe
It will uncompress a bunch of files and put them where they go.
When you open Encore and look at the library, you should see all the categories of menu templates.
It occurs to me that you may not be looking in the right place for categories other than "general."
You select Library "sets" or "categories" (you are seeing only "general"), with the drop down in this image:
If you are looking there and don't see anything or only "General," check to see where Encore preferences say the Encore library should be located:
