Just Firefox

I can never update Flash Player in Firefox.  I AM the administrator and FF is being run as an administrator.  Can someone give me "sufficient permissions?"  No problems on Chrome.  Surprise! Partners with Adobe.

It happens every time there is a major update....I have to reset my pc to an earlier date.  Windows 7. 

I can always go to Chrome to watch videos, but should not be necessary. 

I have tried all of the standard suggestions. 

Security is Avast, Threatfire (yep, I have been hanging on to it), Malwarebytes, and Win Patrol Explorer.  Thanks!!

What exactly means "can never update"?  Can you post the contents of the FlashInstall.log file from C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash ?
