My nook says Errors were detected items can not be copied when I try to get a book from the library.  This is the first time I have done this on my iMac.  Please tell me how to fix the problem

Does it give any hint as to what errors (though unfortunately ADE error messages are often confusing or wrong)?

Have you managed to download the book and read it from within ADE on the Mac?

If so, try to deregister the Nook (cmd-shift-E to ADE with the Nook plugged in).

Restart ADE and then reregister the Nook (menu/Library/Authorise Device)
