videos will not load

Recently, I have not been able to download/view videos from various sites, particularly yahoo news. I had version 11.7.200 and it was not working so I downloaded 11.8 but ti still is not working. I am on Mozilla Firefox and have a 64 bit. How can this be fixed? Please help me. Thank you.

It will not let me see the thread. It comes up that the discussion is locked

The discussion is locked, but you should still be able to view it.

Basically the topic requests you to provide more information; i.e. your operating system.  Also, what means "not able" and "not working"?
