1. Re: Advice on transferring PPRO cs5.03 projects between computers please
Steven L. Gotz May 17, 2013 8:05 PM (in response to tfi productions 44)Use the Project Manager to collect all your files and copy them to a directory structure that you can move to the new PC.
Project / Project Manager - then tell it to collect your files.

Bill Hunt May 17, 2013 8:16 PM (in response to tfi productions 44)You are into the Project a bit, so I second Steven's suggestions to use the Project Manager.
However, I migrate many Projects between my laptop and my workstation. I set up my external HDD (FW-800 in most cases), so that the drive letter is the same in the OS of both, then structure my Project, so that all sub-folders are below my Project's "root folder." I Copy ALL of my assets to the appropriate sub-folders, and point all of my Scratch Disks to "Same As Project." Then, I can easily migrate those Projects between the various computers.
Good luck,
Hunt

I am glad to hear that it is better than in Shakespeare's day:
Marcellus:
Something is rotten in the state of Denmark.
Horatio:
Heaven will direct it.
Cheers!
