Trouble installing adobe flash player

Im having trouble installing the latest version of adobe flash player on my windows 7 pc it keeps saying error in the end of installation what am I doing wrong and how do I get the latest version installed into my computer? In addition when your computer does the updates why didnt my flash player get updated?

Can you post the contents of the FlashInstall.log file in C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash
