Installed flash player, but still ask for installtion

I installed latest version of the flash player based on the link from youtube on my Fujitsu laptop which runs window 7 ultimate OS, and after finish the installation (successfully installed according to Adobe website), and went back to Youtube trying to play the video, it still asked me to installed the latest version of the flash player. There's no error of anykind during the installation other than asked me to close the broswer so to continue the installation. Can someone help me as what is going on here? thanks
