Laubender May 20, 2013 2:10 PM (in response to Ken G. Rice)Hm. Harm's answer suddenly disappeared.
My answer to him and Jack was (and couldn't not process):@Harm – could depend on: if Jack does not own the Extended version of PhotoShop CS6, he should now get a slight upgrade: using 3D etc. Cannot remember the exact feature set Extended vs Normal, but here is a link (a little outdated, though):
http://prodesigntools.com/whats-the-difference-photoshop-cs6-vs-photoshop-cs6-extended.htm l
Could also be, that some features of PhotoShop CS6 Extended (Cloud Version) are already added.
What is also possible with PS CS6 Cloud is to choose from several language versions and switch back. Also installing it to Windows AND to Mac with one single subscription.Uwe

Ken G. Rice May 20, 2013 3:22 PM (in response to Laubender)As a Creative Cloud member you do get the 13.1 update to CS6 covered here http://blogs.adobe.com/creativecloud/photoshop-version-13-1-available-now-for-creative-clo ud-members/.

4. Re: What do I get?
JACK LARSON May 20, 2013 4:36 PM (in response to Ken G. Rice)The Application Manager, that seems to work fine with my Creative Cloud subscription, says that Photoshop is up to date. However, I don't get 13.1.2. I only get 13.0.4. Everything I have tried says that Photoshop is up to date, but it is not; or, at least I don't get 13.1.

5. Re: What do I get?
Ken G. Rice May 20, 2013 4:48 PM (in response to JACK LARSON)@JACK LARSON - Do you have both Photoshop CS6 with a serial number and a subscription to Creative Cloud both on your machine?
You can only activate Photoshop one way - either with a serial number or an Adobe ID. If you have activated it with a serial number than the 13.1 update will not be available since it is only for Creative Cloud members.
If this is the case you should launch Photoshop and from the menu choose Help > Deactivate. Reactivate using your Adobe ID. Detailed help document here http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/convert-cs6-licensed-under-ccm.html.

6. Re: What do I get?
JACK LARSON May 20, 2013 5:09 PM (in response to Ken G. Rice)Ken - I Deactivated it. Then I went through my Creative Cloud account to activate it. What I ended up with was 13.0.4 Extended, but still not 13.1.

9. Re: What do I get?
JACK LARSON May 20, 2013 10:54 PM (in response to JACK LARSON)Just to outline my problem. I subscribed to the Creative Cloud, Photoshop Only. The version of Photoshop remained 13.0.4 (just as it had been). Both Photoshop in the Update section and the Application Manager said everything in PSCS6 was Up to Date. Upon advice, I Deactivated Photoshop, and then re-activated it through the Application Manager. When Photoshop opened it was PSCS6 Extended, but still 13.0.4. I restarted my computer and in Help>Updates menu, it finally opened up the Update dialog box for the Creative Cloud. However, the activation failed (Error U44M1P7). I was told to go to Library>Logs>Adobe>Installers; when I went there there was no record of what I had done in the attempt to activate 13.1.2. Also once when I went to the Application Manager, PSCS6, it said Update, but again the Update would not go through. Since then, when I quit Photoshop and open it again, sometimes it is CS6 and sometimes it is CS6 Extended; the same is true if I restart my computer. Sometime in the Help>Update, I get an update dialog box (which does not work) and sometimes I am told that everything is Up to Date. The same is true inside of the Application Manager. I have Deactivated PS and reactivated it several times with capricious results. Everything is screwy. The one piece of good news is that whether it is PSCS6 or PSCS6 Extended that opens up, they both work fine both independently and in conjunction with Lightroom.
