2. Re: Why doesn't PS 13.1 show up?
JACK LARSON May 20, 2013 4:32 PM (in response to Nitin Gupta aka LP)As a Creative Cloud subscriber, I was told that I should have PS 13.1.2. 13.0.4 is for non-CC subscribers (or so I was told).

3. Re: Why doesn't PS 13.1 show up?
Jeff A Wright May 21, 2013 10:01 AM (in response to JACK LARSON)Jack you are likely not seeing the correct updates do to the licensing which you Photoshop is currently using. If you open Photoshop and select Help>Deactivate does it indicate it will Deactivate Photoshop or the Creative Cloud? If it is Photoshop then please complete the following steps:
- Deactivate Photoshop
- Reopen Photoshop
- Choose License this Software and enter the Adobe ID tied to your subscription.
You should then be able to access the feature bearing updates which are only available to Creative Cloud subscribers.

4. Re: Why doesn't PS 13.1 show up?
JACK LARSON May 21, 2013 11:19 AM (in response to Jeff A Wright)Jeff, I have done what you suggest at least 10 times. When on a rare occasion through Help>Updates I do receive the upgrade to 13.1.2, the Update always fails. Plus, there is no Log of it in HD>Library>Logs>Adobe>Installers. Sometimes in the Application Manager when I go to PSCS6, it says update; the update always fails.

5. Re: Why doesn't PS 13.1 show up?
Jeff A Wright May 21, 2013 11:59 AM (in response to JACK LARSON)Jack for seeing the updates can you please confirm that when you go to Help>Deactivate the screen you see looks like the posted image?
For problems applying the update you will want to review your installation log files. You can find details on how to locate these at Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cs5-cs5.html.
If you are unable to locate the installation logs then I would recommend contacting our support team so they can locate and review the installation log files for you. You can reach our chat support at http://adobe.ly/yxj0t6.

6. Re: Why doesn't PS 13.1 show up?
JACK LARSON May 21, 2013 12:36 PM (in response to Jeff A Wright)Jeff, I do get that Dialog Box, and I deactivate from there. Further, when I go on my main HD to the Logs Install folder, none of the failures are there. All of the Install logs before subscribing to the Creative Cloud are there but nothing after May 16.

7. Re: Why doesn't PS 13.1 show up?
Jeff A Wright May 21, 2013 2:12 PM (in response to JACK LARSON)If the deactivation dialog is reflecting Creative Cloud then you should be able to access the feature bearing updates.
Without the installation logs for the updates you are attempting to apply however I am unable to provide any additional guidance. I do believe working with a member of our support team directly would be the best solution at this time Jack.

8. Re: Why doesn't PS 13.1 show up?
JACK LARSON May 21, 2013 2:31 PM (in response to Jeff A Wright)Thanks, Jeff. I have done that and am going to have to uninstall PSCS6 and then reinstall it through the Application Manager. I know how to deal with 3rd party plug-ins that probably won't automatically reinstall. However, how do I save the Actions that I have created and loaded into my present version of PSCS6? What is the best way to reload them to the Creative Cloud version of PSCS6?

9. Re: Why doesn't PS 13.1 show up?
Jeff A Wright May 21, 2013 2:35 PM (in response to JACK LARSON)You can use the preset manager under the Edit menu. Alternately I believe there is also the option to save and load actions in the flyout menu in the actions palette.

10. Re: Why doesn't PS 13.1 show up?
JACK LARSON May 21, 2013 3:43 PM (in response to Jeff A Wright)Jeff, I didn't need to do anything. I uninstalled. When I reinstalled through Application Manager, everything (including 3rd party plug-ins and Actions and Extensions) migrated perfectly.
