Hmm... the title at the top of your linked page says 500Gig hard drive, but down in the specification list it says 1T - so that is confusing
If possible, 2 hard drives (both 7200rpm) is better... otherwise, a couple of past discussions
Well, I think it looks good, but I would try to get an SSD harddrive instead, and if possible, take out the DVD drive and replace it with another SDD in a drive cage to fit the place of the DVD.
I did this with my dell precision and got a drive cage for aprox. $29 and put another SSD inside. You could mount the drive that comes build in in an external USB 3.0 case to use too.
Thank you very much. The computer has two 7200 rpm, 500 gb hardrives. So i think that works but I'm not sure.
Thanks for the other links!
Two 500Gig hard drives is better than one, so you may have Windows and all software on the boot drive, and project and video files on the 2nd drive... to "spread the load" while editing video
With 2 drives, you should do OK (just not as fast as a desktop, since laptop components are a trade off between speed and heat/power considerations)
