Moving books to my nook

I have completed the download of adobe e reader and have borrowed a several books from the library.  I am trying to move the books to my nook and the books will not move into my nook.  Please help!

Sorry, a few questions before any answers ...

Is the Nook showing up on ADE in the left hand panel?

Have you authorised your ADE with your Adobe ID?

Have you authorised your Nook with your Adobe ID?

I am trying to reset my adobe sign in apparently I did not do that correctly. I am on hold with technical support to see if I can get them to help me.
