Liam Dilley May 22, 2013 2:07 PM (in response to Florin Carlig)What is this Florin:
3009528 Line breaks are removed from multiline fields Can you explain this please because we use this, I use this, people use this. We put line breaks into this and use editors on front end of web app items, put these in with javascript when we form results or content from web forms to populate a web app item field etc.
Stripping out the line breaks will break the formating.
Could you explain why this is being classed as a bug and changed?

2. Re: R187 System Update - Scheduled to go live May 28th, 2013
Sidney Mitchell May 22, 2013 2:13 PM (in response to Liam Dilley)Hi Liam,
There's an existing bug not allowing line breaks when viewing within multiline fields via admin.
"Problem: multiline fields should allow line breaks - at the moment text on multiple lines are stored in the back-end on a single line. This becomes a problem when we including {tag_threadlast} into the reply emails and the original submission appears all in one line."
Basically we're fixing this not removing.
Cheers!

nova cvmweb May 24, 2013 4:33 AM (in response to nova cvmweb)A question regarding the new release... increased plan limits also mean changing pricing of the packages? I hope not...

11. Re: R187 System Update - Scheduled to go live May 28th, 2013
Liam Dilley May 29, 2013 2:22 AM (in response to Florin Carlig)Thanks Florin. I knew to be wary of thi as you guys messed with it nearly two years ago and broke it then too.
I knew had a feeling it would not be any good and I did not push for you guys to hold off in it when I should have.
Annoyed its broken but more annoye I knew it would break and did not push it with you.
It clearly was not tested HTML like the example was never put in to multiline fields to see how it would handle.
Lots of sites broken because of this so its very frustrating.

Florin Carlig May 29, 2013 3:22 AM (in response to Liam Dilley)We're looking into both issues - they seem to be caused by 2 different problems.
Engineering is currently working on fixing both - we'll update you (and on the status page) as soon as it's completed.
Thanks,
