Multiple Choice Question - Advances Prematurely

I'm using Presenter 8 with Windows 7.  When I preview a quiz question slide, it reacts correctly but when the presentation is published, it does not.  I've tried Infinite Attempts and 5 Attempts but each time, it only allows 1 attempt and then advances to the next slide.  The same thing happens on other multiple choice questions in the same presentation.  Is there a fix for this?

Settings:

Advance slide by user: Yes

Submit and Clear buttons are displayed

Type: Graded

   Checked: Show clear button

If correct answer:

   Action: Go to next slide

   Checked: Show correct message

If wrong answer:

   Action: Go to next slide

   Checked: Show error message; Show retry message; Show incomplete message

This issue is not reproducible on our side. Can you send us a sample project which has this bug?

Please zip the project and attach it with the reply.

Also mention the exact version of Presenter.

Thanks for conveying this issue.

We investigated the project, that you send us.

In  C D E answer option, the advanced button option > action is set as goto next slide, that is causing the issue.

Actually, this action gets selected by default which is a bug.

There is a workaround to get rid of this issue. In action for incorrect answers select 'go to slide' and select the same question slide, for the correct answer action select 'go to next slide' .

There is also one low probability issue with this workaround. If the user exhausts all attempts on the wrong answer, then he wouldn't be taken to next slide automatically, he has to press next button.
