I use adobe flash player on my computer and I also use a software program for monitoring my security cameras at home. New versions of Flash Player interfer with the operation of the security camera video by making all the cameras flicker constantly!!
So I uninstalled the adobe Flash player but now cannot view any videos on my browsers like CNN news clip videos etc...??? Any solutions?
can Flash Player be installed on one browser only?

There are 2 versions of Flash Player installers,
one for ActiveX (that would be for Internet Explorer)
http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/support/install_flash_player_ax.exe
and one for "Other Browsers"
http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/support/install_flash_player.exe
So it would be possible to have Flash in one of these only.
However, when both are "Other Browsers" (Firefox and Safari)
I guess I would have disabled the "Shockwave Flash" plugin in Firefox.
Tools -> Add-ons -> Plugins
then click the "Disable" button on the "Shockwave Flash" field.
