    Encoding fail, then immediately works

      Hello,

I am having an issue with AME (6.0.3.1). I load various sequences from Premiere (CS6 updated) and occasionaly I will get a Error compiling movie. Unknown error. There is no consistency to this, but it happens often. At this very moment I have 30 or so sequences queued. I just got a failed encode. I ctrl+D and put it right under the file that AME is now encoding, and it will encode it fine.

This is obviously frustrating as I can not create a large queue and leave it to encode. I have to baby sit it.

The sequences from Premiere are pretty simple. No dynamic links with AE. Files are ProRes .MOVs, PhotoJPEG .MOVs, PNG w/alpha .MOVs, H.264 .MOVs, MP3s, WAVs, AIFFs, PSDs, and titles. I am using Ultra Key, Color Key, Three Way Color, Fast Blur, EQs, etc. but no 3rd party effects.

The system I am using is:

      Win 7 64bit

      i7 970

      24GB Ram

      4 x 1.5TB internal

      3TB internal

      USB drives

      FireWire audio device

The only thing I can think of is that some of the media is coming from a USB 3 drive. I am encoding to the C drive but no assets from the project live there.
