Hi! I am dealing with some footage shot on GoPro in PP5.5 that is very yellow (due some weird transcoding thing in the GoPro program, Cineform Studio) and I have inferred from other posts that AE might be a better place to correct that. How might I get my short sequence from PP5.5 to AE5.5? Thank you!
Create an After Effects composition from clips in Premiere Pro:
After I send clips to Ae via Dynamic Link, I will save the Ae Project,
exit Ae, return to Premiere and immediately hit undo.
This will restore the original clips to the Premiere Timeline for
future reference if you need to swap something out later.
Then do File > Adobe Dynamic Link > Import After Effects Composition.
Import the new Ae comp you have just created and saved, add a new
track to the Timeline and drop in your Dynamically Linked comp.
I have inferred from other posts that AE might be a better place to correct that.
I disagree with that myself. PP is fully capable of acceptable color correction.
