    New PC Build for Premiere

      Hi guys,

We are looking at building two new video edit PCs for our small video production team.

We produce a couple of community TV shows in Australia. Most of our footage is shot on Sony NX5's and NX70's in HD AVCHD. We predominantly use Premiere and After Effects CS6.

Our thoughts for the new PC builds are

      MotherboardASUS P9X79 Pro Model
      ProcessorIntel Core i7 3930K Sandy Bridge-E 3.2GHz
      RAM Corsair 64GB (8x8GB) DDR3 1600Mhz CL9 Dominator Platinum
      Case Corsair Obsidian 800D
Power Supply CORSAIR AX1200i Digital ATX Power Supply
      Boot Drive OCZ Vector 256GB
      GPU GTX 680 4Gb
      Data DrivesSeagate Constellation ES3.3 2TB x 4 (RAID 5)
CPU Cooler COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO
      Blu-ray Burner Pioneer BDR-208 Blu-Ray Disc Burner
      RAIDADAPTEC 7805

We have run Quadro FX 4000's in the past, but are not sure of the benefit any more over say the GTX680. We would also like the ability to output to an LCD TV for preview prior to exporting for the stations (dedicated output monitor card would be fine).

I'm happy to hear everyones thoughts on the hardware, and am open to other recommendations.
