I need flashplayer 8 active x for an old game I have and it won't let me download it. Please help..........

The latest Flash Player should be backwards compatible for old Flash content.

But if you really need Flash Player 8, uninstall your current Player, then download and install it from http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html

If you have already tried that, what exactly means "won't let me"?

Sorry, I don't understand this - you shouldn't need any permission to download anything.  Where are you downloading it to?  Can you post a screenshot of that error?  See http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1070933

bit. adobe said I didn't have permission to be on that page . understand
