1. Re: Flash Plugin not getting installed for Mozilla Firefox
Hunting.Targ Jun 1, 2013 7:07 PM (in response to Vijeshcormaty)Just chiming in to say I have had an issue similar to the one noted above. I am an end user running Vista Home 32-bit SP2, Firefox 21.0, and Java 1.7.0 update 21. I happened onto this while updating Java to correct a security flaw. I have this problem when trying to update both the Flash and Reader plugins, both of which Firefox indicates are "vulnerable". The Adobe site indicates that the downloads are large (like 31 and 48 MB, about), but it actually downloads files about 1MB in size, which when I try to run the file, am prompted by Windows User Control, and then the file disappears from the directory after apparently doing nothing. Nothing shows up in the list of Applications or Processes on Windows Task Manager.
The last two things I did to the system configuration were to update Java (from 7 update 10) and to uninstall Java 6. Anyone who can provide useful help will have my thanks.

2. Re: Flash Plugin not getting installed for Mozilla Firefox
appnina Jun 5, 2013 9:57 PM (in response to Hunting.Targ)I am facing a similar issue with the flash content on my website (appnina.com). Any flash content is not displayed on my website.
The problem is because of using flash plugin in Mozilla Firefox (21.0 - updated). The flash plugin does not get activated by default. That is whenever opening the site, the flash content is not displayed. It asks to click the activate button. This activation should be one time, however it always asks to do so whenever opening the site.
I just checked and found that this flash problem is not specific to my website but in general (youtube as well).
Let me put the screen shot of the same.
Any permanent solution to this. Let me check if I can delete the old plguin and download it again to solve this issue.
The problem seems to be because of compatibility problem of firefox with flash.
PS: Let me know if I need to start a new discussion thread on this ?
