The application manager gives me a error U44M1P7 so I tried updates from the site but now I got a updates could not be applied message . This is for Bridge patch 5.0.2, Flash Pro CS6 update 2, FireworkS CS6 , Can't even Find the new Photoshop update for Creative Cloud Photoshop 13.1.2. This all started when I subscribed to Creative Cloud Photoshop yesterday. Can't even install photoshop 13.0.4 which is what I had before with creative suite.

I have been waiting for 170 minutes now for tech support to return call.

Imagepoint the U44M1P7 error means that the update has failed.  If the update is available you can try downloading the update from https://internalapps.adobe.com/downloads/updates/.  If you continue to experience difficulties though it will be necessary to locate the error messages within the log files for the updates which are failing to apply.  Please see Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cs5-cs5.html for infor

The update available on the Adobe.com website are for perpetual user and not for Creative cloud subscriber.

I would appreciate if you could share the update log that could be find at the below location to further investigate the issue :-

Navigate to the log files in one of the following folders:

      • Windows 32 bit (XP, Vista, 7): \Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Installers\

      • Windows 64 bit (XP, Vista, 7): \Program Files(x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Installers

      • Mac OS: /Library/Logs/Adobe/Installers/

The log filename includes the product name and install date, followed by ".log.gz." The extension .gz indicates a compressed format.

Use a decompression utility such as Winzip or StuffIt to decompress the .gz file. Once uncompressed, the log file is a plain text file.

Please do not paste the log file here, Put it on the Pastebin.com website and share the link here.

Screen Shot 2013-05-09 at 12.23.50 AM.PNGI have installed and uninstalled and installed again Photoshop cs6 for creative cloud. I have installed and uninstalled and installed again application manager and still can not update Photoshop 13.1.2, Extension manager 6.0.5, Photoshop Camera Raw 7.4, and Bridge 5.0.2.  I have spent most of my day on this problem. Adobe is only interested in collecting money from those of us who depend on their products for our living.

Today everytime you open application manager it ask you to install edge animate and touch apps plugin. They are already installed. Adobe is lost with this creative cloud and the tech guys keep telling me to fix this and that on my machine what they cannot understand is that before creative cloud I could update to camera raw 7.4 and others apps. Now I can not update and this is my fault!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is now 7:50PM EST Never got a call back from Adobe Tech. Called them and spent an hour with someone from tech services. I am told they will escalate the problem to a senior tech specialist, who will call back within 24 hours. I ask if they really were going to call, was reassured they would.

this is how I solved that same problem. I am on mac but this has worked for windows:

see this link:        http://forums.adobe.com/message/5298676#5298676

Deactivate PSCS6.

Uninstall PSCS6.

Run the NEW APPLICATION MANAGER THAT CAME WITH YOUR CREATIVE CLOUD MEMBERSHIP. It should be still on you disk.

You will then see a menu of applications availabe to your account. Click on PSCS6-install.

It will then install the "latest" version (don't know the number for windows) of PSCS6

Run the newly installed application, PSCS6.

Select "update" from help menu and you will be updated to ver 13.12.

You should be sure you still have the pscs6 dmg from your original install

I BELIEVE THE ERROR CODE YOU GOT MEANS THAT SOME PART OF THE ADOBE SOFTWARE, SOME TINY, IMPORTANT FILE, WAS NOT PRESENT-----ITHINK

LUCK

I've had the same problem, but only on my laptop. I have CS6 Master Collection, not the subscription garbage, but CS. And I keep getting this error.

I've deactivated. Uninstalled. Reinstalled. Reactivated. Tried updating, and still getting this.

I looked, and even though I had the error code U44M1P7, clicked on More Details, followed the link to the directory it said the error file should have been, there was nothing.

And it just gets better and better. Since that failed update, Photoshop CS6 will not start/launch. I can get Bridge to launch, but not PS.  I've already checked the drive for errors, nothing. Had Task Manager running, tried to launce PS, and it doesn't even show up in the list of applications/services running.

Adobe CS6 Master Collection, Windows 7 Pro 64bit, 16gbs ram, i7.

UPDATE: I tried to launch a different programs of the Master Collection, and they also crashed. This has only started since the latest update/update failure.

The only one that doesn't crash that has the deactivate option, the option is grey out. No, this isn't hacked/cracked/pirated version of CS6 Master Collection. Looking at the box as I type this out.  So, how do I deactivate it when the option to deactivate is unavailable. (Please don't say do a system restore, as that is NOT an option.)

Sandra I would recommend focusing on the update failure which you received first.  The installation log files should be located in the following locations depending upon your operating system:

• Windows 32 bit (XP, Vista, 7): \Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Installers\

• Windows 64 bit (XP, Vista, 7): \Program Files(x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Installers

You can find additional information on how to review your installation logs in message #21.
