I installed Flash Player 11, and it is listed in the control panel of my computer, but when I try to use Street view in Google maps, or certain videos, I get a message that I don't have it installed on my computer!  Help!!

Hi Pat,

Thanks for replying so quickly. No, I cannot see the Flash animation, all

I see is a grey box. So I followed the instructions and installed Flash

Player (for about the 6th time, I might add). I still couldn't see the

Flash animation. I use Internet Explorer, but I don't know where to find

what version I'm using! Out of curiosity's sake, I tried zooming in using

Google Chrome, which I have installed on my computer, but do not use all

that often (habit, I guess), and for I have no problem zooming in and

seeing my house, and I even saw a video that my sister sent me, which I was

unable to view in IE. So it would appear to be an IE problem. (Two weeks

ago I tried sending pictures to my daughter and was unable to with IE, but

I did it in Google Chrome). Should I re-install IE?

Hi Jacqueline,

It makes sense that Chrome works because it uses it's own plugin which is packaged and released within the browser.  Please try these methods:
