flash player not working

Attempted to install flash player 4-5 times. It installs completely but after installation I'm still unable to play anything on youtube, hulu, netflix etc. Not sure what to do.

Can you provide the operating system/browser you're using?

I'm using Mac, safari is the browser.

What OS version is it? 10.5? 10.8?

- OS X (Mac OS X) - Click the Apple menu at the top of your screen then click About this Mac.

Also, Netflix does not use the flash player plugin.  For that you will need Microsoft's Silverlight. http://www.microsoft.com/silverlight/

It's a 10.6.8. Also I had tried installing the silverlight as well for netflix. It's doing the same for flash player and silverlight. Completing installation but then not playing.

It's strange that both silverlight and flash player plugins do not work.  Perhaps they're disabled?  Before moving on, can you make sure you're plugins are enabled as described here?

Truly thank you so much! I feel like an idiot! But the problem was the plug-ins were disabled. Thank you!!
