need help installing after uninstalling on mac

I just got a G4, my first mac. I was trying to update my flash player, i have try several times with no success. So I uninstalled thinking that may be the issue as stated in instillation page. And I tried reinstall and I have nothing now. Need help I have a Mac OS 10.4.9(32 bit)
