     I have a nook reader and have downloaded adobe digital editions 2.0 it work great on my desktop computer but when I try to download books from the library on my laptop its not working. What did I do wrong?

Have you authorized both the laptop and the desktop copies of ADE with the same Adobe ID?

This must be an explicit Adobe ID, not an 'authoized without ID' or whatever.

LATEST

ID number that you mentioned is the Adobe ID with which you have purchased your ebooks. So, you need to authorize your ADE with the same Adobe ID/password.

Follow the below steps to Authorize your ADE 2.0 :

  • Launch ADE
  • Go to Help
  • Authorize Computer
  • Enter the Adobe ID/password
  • Click on Authorize > OK

And you are good to go.
