NickBoston Jun 13, 2013 9:26 AM (in response to NickBoston)Could this have anything to do with a Retina display?

Miguel Cobo Jun 13, 2013 3:44 PM (in response to NickBoston)Did you change or calibrated the ColorSync profile of your display recently?
There are several issues with ColorSync if changes or calibrates the profile of your display with projects started with other profiles.
Check your Cuda Driver and update also.

6. Re: Strange colors in monitor...
NickBoston Jun 15, 2013 9:53 AM (in response to Miguel Cobo)No, I didn't touch the colors in the display. But get this, I was using DNxHD footage. I transcoded to do my edit and didn't relink to the original. When I went back and relinked backed to the original AVCHD and then went to Speedgrade it was perfect! Strange huh? Wonder what the deal is. Maybe a lower bit depth in the DNxHD??

SGTNak Jun 15, 2013 9:01 PM (in response to NickBoston)I don't think it's a setting as much as a bug in SG. This video addresses a work around.

Dennis Weinmann Jun 18, 2013 3:57 AM (in response to NickBoston)What DNxHD codec/FPS has the source clip ?

10. Re: Strange colors in monitor...
NickBoston Jun 18, 2013 11:15 AM (in response to Dennis Weinmann)All 24p for the whole shoot. The transcode came out as 24p as well.
Interestingly, Speedgrade CC hasn't ha an affect on fixing the color issues which still tells me it's the footage

13. Re: Strange colors in monitor...
justinjohnson76 Jul 17, 2013 9:14 AM (in response to NickBoston)So just to give you something to try... ON CS6..I would convert my footage to DNxHD YUV. All the highlights would show up like yours are in After effects for me. I switched to RGB and the issue went away. I had to go back and re-transcode all my footage.
However, with CC this appears to no longer be an issue. Anything I transcoded with the old CS6 AME still shows the issue, but when I re-transcode with CC AME it no longer causes this issue with DNxHD YUV. Maybe this is what you are running into? Just a thought. Hope this helps a bit.
AS an aside, I really wish Speedgrade supported DNxHD in mxf container. /cry So fast to transcode to.
