How can I backup my website content and database? Can I set scheduled backups?

Hi,

BC doesn't have a schedule backup tool.  The way you'll back-up data is to follow the migration article.

Please note BC does keep a daily back-up of your site but will only restore for disaster recovery (system outage, etc).

So, I would not be able to move the site to another platform if I chose to do so?

Do I have access to the database that ties the entire site together? How would I export the database?

Correct...

You'll need to manually port this using the various export option (explained in the article) and also FTP to help move your pages, files, etc.
