if you're trying to update ps 13.0.1.2 to 13.1.2,

1. uninstall ps

2. reinstall using adobe application manager.

3. close aam after installation is complete.

4. open ps>click help>update and select 13.1.2.  (do not update to  13.0.1.2 first.)

Jeff, I already did so and got the same result again. However, being this close to the release of PS CC, I may just bide my time and upgrade on release anyhow.

Also, tried the direct update as suggested by the link you provided but no go - the downloads page did not contain the stand alone update for this current version.

Many of the feature bearing updates are only available through the Adobe Application Manager.  Odd that you got the file corruption error again though.  If you continue to experience difficulties next week you may want to look at the logs for the downloads of the installers themselves.  The download logs can be found in the following locations:

On Windows, %temp%\AdobeDownloads\

On Mac, ~/Library/Logs/Adobe/AdobeDownloads/

Jeff, tried again today (still planning to move to PSCC when released) and got the same result, even after reinstalling. These are the files that fail with error DF045:

plugin.dll

boost_threads.dll

"patchTrigger"
